Scripture: The Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are divine in origin and are, therefore, the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Gospel: It is the Good News of Jesus Christ to the human race which is separated from the Creator because of sin and disobedience. It's message is that there is only one way of reconciliation available: - that is, a person can be restored to a right relationship with the Creator only in and through the finished work of Jesus Christ upon Calvary. The gospel is defined in 1 Corinthians 15:1-3.
Creation: was by a supernatural act of God by which He brought the universe into existence in six literal successive 24 hour days. On the seventh day God rested and viewed this creation as finished and completed without evolutionary processes. Genesis 1 and 2.
Trinity: is the Deity of the Three Persons of the Godhead - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Fall of Man: The origin of man was by a direct creative act of God, who formed him from clay and gave him the breath of life, with man awakening as a living soul. Man by his voluntary and conscious choice of sin fell from his original state of innocence to that of condemnation. All men are sinners by heredity and practice and are therefore, totally without excuse - being unable to meet the standards of God's holiness and - therefore needing a Saviour.
The Way of Salvation: Jesus Christ is the only way of Salvation - He died for our sins, and rose again for our justification. Our hope of eternal life as believers is by faith in Him alone.
Works: A person is not saved or redeemed by the works he/she does. A person is saved by the finished work of Jesus Christ and no other. The works that a person does are a reflection of the work of God that has taken place within.
Sin: Sin is anything, which is contrary to the holy character of God as revealed in the Word of God.
The Role of the Holy Spirit: Is to indwell and equip the life of the believer. He bestows gifts to be used for the edification of the whole church body.
